This restaurant and its staff gets 5 stars from me every time we go there. Fast and friendly service, wonderfully delicious homemade food. If you leave hungry its your own fault. Its our new favorite place!!!!

It was not my choice to go here. It was my mother, who is a regular I guess. Options are slim in Brandenburg but this was not bad. That's hardly a raving endorsement either. We had the buffet on Father's Day. They were feeding the masses and unfortunately that carried over into the flavor of a number of dishes. The fried chicken was cold. And, that alone cost them 1 star. The lack of heat source was no doubt the culprit. Apart from health code issues it's a big no no. The fried fish was awesome, but I was lucky to have it fresh. The pasta salad was nothing remarkable but needed more zip and tang. It was room temperature which is very opposite of what it should be. The prime rib was surprisingly tender for being ice cold. The onion rings were chewy and once again cold. On whole 3 stars is fair.

The food was hot and really tasty! I love it when hot food is served hot!!! Great job! Or server was so sweet. Great experience!

The rating is multifactoral to include food, setting, service. The atmosphere and decor seems mismatched and outdated. The place looks older. Confused over whether this place was a sports bar or what..? Its a home- cooked restaraunt. The service was good and friendly. The food was pretty good and homecooked, except the meatloaf. I was really dissappointed in the meatloaf. The edges were dry and it tasted like it had sat out awhile. I'm also use to meatloaf being thick..but this one was like a rectangle burger patty with meatloaf taste...hmmm. The little fried biscuits were nice but had a slight old oil taste. I think this place could use a little improvement and get 5 stars, but for now..its 3..maybe 3 1/2.😀👍. I would go back but not get meatloaf.

This is the best resturant in Brandenburg. All the food is homeade. Everything is delicious! Our family visits every Sunday! The drink and dessert is included in the buffet price which is very very reasonable for the amount and quality of food. They change up the menu each weekend and they keep fried chicken as a staple in the buffet. The dessert are great to and its always a surprise of what you will get each week! I'm so glad we found this resturant and can make it our home plate each Sunday! The staff and owner is very nice as well! Makes for a very enjoyable Sunday!

Services was great! Refills when needed an the wait was well worth it. The food is awesome! Medium wait.

Local business. Hamburgers, slivers and fries were great. Kids chicken tenders were what was suspected. The toppings on our burgers were super fresh cold lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles. Crisp hot fresh bacon. Can't vouch for the other food yet. But what we had was great. Friendly staff clean place. Reasonably priced.

Food here is great and well priced for what you get. Every server I've ever had has been absolutely wonderful, and all of the staff are friendly 😊This place feels like a family, love eating here

The waitress was very sweet.

All four of us were very disappointed in our breakfast meals. Biscuits were almost burned on the bottoms, gravy tasted like flour, grits needed to have the water salted, eggs tasted like they were fried in old grease, almost no meat in the omelet... Waitress was very pleasant and attentive.

Great local place for lunch or dinner. Cracker Barrel kinda food just with baseball stuff on the walls instead on antiques.Also has good salads for those looking for a lighter meal or want a healthier option.

Employees were nice, food was fresh. No complaints. Catfish was excellent.

This was our first time and will be our last. Service was great, our waitress was really nice, but they were under staffed, so once it got busy we couldn't get her attention. Another problem was the food. My Wife got the Roast Beef Dinner they brought her the open faced Roast Beef(a cheaper dinner) which had barely any meat and was even cold. My daughters plate was covered in Gravy making the rest of her meal soggy. I ordered the "daily special" which was the same portion and price had it not been a "special", I assumed it was the 2 piece Country Fried Steak due to the fact the "special" price was the same as the single piece. What is "SPECIAL"????

Delicious food and friendly staff. The few times I've eaten here the service has been a little slow. The whole baseball theme is nice and there is plenty of seating for a lot of people.

Excellent food, excellent service, reasonably priced. Ate dinner there two nights in a row while traveling for work. Fresh home cooking, good portion sizes. Best salmon patties I have ever eaten. Saturday night buffet is a winner. Breaded pork chops so tender you can cut with a fork, fried chicken, fish, all the veggies you could ask for, cake, pie and ice cream for dessert, drink included $12.95.

Everything is home cooked and it is amazing! The fried chicken and fried fish were the best I have ever had. Highly recommend the buffet which runs Saturday evenings and all day Sunday. The prices are reasonable and service is excellent! Highly recommended!

First time eating here. I got the Thursady lunch special which was meatloaf. My 2 sides were mac n cheese and peas. Red sauce on my meatloaf. Sweet tea to drink. Then you get fried biscuits too. OMG all of it was soooooo good. Mac n cheese was thick and cheesy. The meatloaf had good flavor. And those fried biscuits are the bomb dot com. I'll will tell everyone if your in Brandenburg KY go eat at Home Plate.

The service was great! I wouldn't plan to go here. But if I was in the area and hungry I would. The food wasn't the greatest but it was good probably way better than fast food. The place was very homie and I loved the baseball theme it was played very well!

Amazing place to go and have a great meal! Staff is wonderful and very knowledgeable about the food. The banana cream pie is to die for. Will definitely go back again.

Good food but waited over an hour to get food. Only reason we got food when we did is we asked if it was almost done. Waitress kept our drinks filled which was a good thing.
